Although not really new to the local hiphop scene, “Nik Makino” become famous by his hit track “Neneng B” which is known in the Philippines as Boy Pick Up’s partner played by actress Sam Pinto. Nik Makino use these character references (Neneng B, Boy Pick Up) and with those catchy beats, common but funny pick up lines (Pag aaral ka ba? kasi gusto mong ginagapang ka).This track became a massive hit.
