Aries Agulto (born April 18, 1984) in cabanatuan city philippines, better known by his stage name Macwun, is a Filipino Rap artist & Producer signed to Sandamukal Records & Tugmaan Records,. He is best known throughout the Philippines for 2005 debut hit single “Kabet” So far he has released his first mixtape, “Awitin ng mga Henyo”. The mixtape was released on September 9, 2010, Which is considered one of the best mixtape in the internet. The first single from the mixtape “Paliwanag” He also been part of Dongalo Wreckords with his group “Gagong Rapper”
Macwun has been writing lyrics since he was 18 years old and he decided to make a rap group called Gagong Rapper. Since then he’s collaborated with several other Filipino artist such as New Elementz & Pilipino G. Much of his musical influence comes from the Legendary Francis Magalona and the Master rapper Andrew Espiritu. Macwun has porudced for an array of famous artist such as Mike Swift, Trapp, Mista Blaze, Estanghero, Sandamukal Artist/ Group & Tumgaan Artist/Groups wih his own production (Got Beats production). By the mid 2010’s he had established his own record label, Tugmaan Records.
