Biography
Kawago is a rap group compose of Duff Uno, Zhatto, Sneaky. It is stated that the group name means “Kaming mga wais na di Magbabago” They started in 1996 as Kawago Tribe.
They were first discovered by Bendeatha of Salbakuta (way back) then, that connection introduce them to Andrew E, and they became invited to be a part of Dongalo Wreckords. until they later signs with Alpha records and they release two studio albums.

- Kaibigan (2007) (under Alpha records) with 14 tracks
- Kawago Reunited 2.0 (2018) – with 7 tracks (digital release)
Kawago is mainly known for their rap ballad/romantic theme tracks their self titled album have classic tracks such as “Kailanman” this track uses a samples from Maso‘s “Kailanman” (Alpha records) and was later revived by Jocelyn Enriquez in 1997, this track is also a tagalog translation to “Saigo no Iiwake” by Hideaki Tokunaga.
Their second single “Paminsan-minsan” that uses a sample from Richard Reynoso’s “Paminsan-minsan” in 1992. That you can check here:
Their first album also includes “Bulag sa katotohanan” that features “Girlie Cruz” singing the hook, the song used the samples from Rachel Alejandro “Bulag sa katotohanan”
in Oct 27, 2017 All star production release the official music video of Kailanman by Kawago
in Feb 14, 2022 they release a “Can’t buy me Love” official music video in their youtube channel.
