Biography

Filipino rapper Gabriel Abilla also known as Hev Abi, is a native of Quezon City. His rise to fame in 2023 was sparked by a slew of hit songs, beginning with the widely shared “WELCOME2DTQ“. Additionally, he was a founding member of the independent label Downtown Q Entertainment. In October, Hev Abi released his debut album, Kung Alam Mo Lang. On the Philippines Songs Charts of Billboard, he was featured on three straight No. 1 songs, including “Alam Mo Ba Girl” and “Babaero“.

Hev Abi’s rise to fame on social media brought him a string of hit songs, such as “Para sa Streets,” “QC Girls,” and “Lil Kasalanan Shortie.” The label signed artists like Kristina Dawn, gins&melodies, Unotheone, and Simmo, all featured on Hev Abi’s debut album. Fans dubbed Abi “Rookie of the Year” in Pinoy hip hop. Rappler’s list of the year’s breakthrough OPM acts referred to Hev Abi as “arguably one of the biggest.

On Oct 2023 Hev Abi collaborated with Unotheone and LK with a track called “Sumugal” that gained 8,208,101 views on his YouTube channel.

In Nov 2023 he collaborated with Demi with a track called “Pakundangan” which has a massive 28,537,120 views on DEMI’s YouTube channel. (that you can watch below)

In April 2024 he collaborated with Flow-G with a track called “BURGIS” which gained 28,280,934 YouTube views on Flow-G yt channel.

On July 2024 Hev Abi and Because created a track called “MINAHALAGAD” with 488,228 views and still counting. It also features a vivamax star ms. Azi Acosta
